Number of employees (or DAAWN employers only)

Login details for access to the DAAWN resources area
We do not collect sensitive personal data. All information is provided voluntarily by you.
2a. Case Studies
Individuals may choose to share their personal experiences of domestic abuse with DAAWN by submitting a case study through our website. This is entirely voluntary.
When providing a case study:
You may choose to remain anonymous, or you may consent to your name being published alongside your case study.
We collect your contact email address solely for the purpose of contacting you about your submission if needed.
Your email address will never be published or shared publicly.
We will only publish the content you provide (and your name, if you have explicitly given consent for this). However, we reserve the right to rephrase or reword any stories but will gain your further approval before posting.
We reserve the right to decline to publish any case study if it is inappropriate in any way.
By submitting a case study, you consent to DAAWN processing and publishing the information you provide in line with your preferences. You may withdraw this consent and ask for your case study to be taken down by emailing hello@DAAWN.info or using the contact form on the website.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
Identify companies raising awareness of domestic abuse in the workplace
Collect case studies from those who are or have been affected by domestic abuse
Provide access to DAAWN resources via the website
Send updates, news, and notifications about the DAAWN project
Display your company name, logo, and description on our website (only with your consent)
Provide information to Partners or funding organisations about a) stories (qualitative feedback) received on the site; b) the number of organisations providing support and the number of employees within these organisations who have access to awareness information.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your data on the basis of consent. By providing your information and opting in, you agree to its use as outlined in this policy.

5. Sharing Your Data
We may share company information only (not personal data) with our project partners (Essex Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, Essex Chambers of Commerce, Practical HR Ltd, and organisations who offer funding or associated collaborators).
Your company details may also appear on our website if you provide consent.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data to third parties.
6. Data Storage and Transfers
All personal data is stored securely within the UK. Your data is never transferred outside of the UK.
7. Data Retention
We will keep your data for as long as you are an active participant in the DAAWN initiative. If you withdraw consent, your personal information will be deleted within a reasonable timeframe, though company information already published with your consent may remain visible until you request removal.

Companies and organisation who provide details can log-in at any time and update their details. Alternatively, they can email hello@DAAWN.info to ask for information to be updated.
